This is digihippo.net, a site operated by, er, me, James Byatt. Very little of the material I publish here will be novel – I read a lot more than I write, and the majority of what I write is a digest of what I’ve read (hence the blog title). That paints a pretty good picture of how I work, as well – I don’t have enough memory to store cumbersome instructions of how to do everything, so I try to generalize to as few rules as possible and then derive the more specific details as I need them.
